An exoskeleton convinces nobody on a data sheet – it convinces people in your own warehouse, at your own picking station, with your own staff. If you are planning long term and want the unit on your balance sheet, you buy. If you would rather not tie up capital and prefer service, maintenance and unit replacement inside one monthly figure, you rent – over the full term that costs more, but it is predictable and requires no investment. If you want to spread the acquisition over several years and treat it as leasing for tax purposes, you lease.
All prices quoted are net prices plus the applicable statutory VAT, ex warehouse, for delivery within Germany. Deliveries abroad on request. Our offer is directed exclusively at business customers (B2B).
We carry German Bionic exclusively. No mixed range, no replicas – instead spare parts, software versions and training material from a single source.
The Exia adapts its support in real time to the person and the task. It learns from anonymised movement data and covers lifting, carrying, walking and bent-over work in a single unit – from goods receipt to patient mobilisation.
What matters is not the industry but the movement pattern: frequent lifting, long periods bent forward, carrying over distance. Wherever that happens, an exoskeleton measurably takes part of the load.

We talk about tasks, shift patterns and headcount. It often turns out that two units at the right station achieve more than ten spread across the site.
A trial unit comes to you for a few days. Your staff use it on their real tasks – not on a demo course.
You receive the rental rate, term, scope of service and purchase option in writing. No automatic extension without your consent.
We deliver, fit the units to the people wearing them and train on site. The briefing is part of the rental, not a separate item.
Maintenance, software versions and replacement batteries run through us. If a unit fails we swap it instead of sending it in and leaving you waiting.
At the end of the term you decide. With fleet rentals we credit the rent you have paid against the purchase price.
An exoskeleton stuck in customs or waiting for a technician from another country helps nobody. That is why we settle logistics and service before the contract, not after.

For fleet customers we name a service partner in the destination country. For smaller rental contracts we work with replacement units instead of repair downtime.

Because the manufacturer does not offer a rental model. Anyone wanting to test an exoskeleton or use it for a single season would otherwise have to buy. We take on the investment risk and hand out the units for a defined period.
The basic briefing takes about an hour. Experience shows it then takes two or three shifts before the unit stops feeling unfamiliar. Plan for that settling-in period before you judge the benefit.
Yes. The units adjust to different body sizes and are designed for shift changes. For analysis in the data platform each person can have their own profile.
We replace it. Repairs and maintenance are included in the rental rate as long as there is no intent or gross negligence. Details are set out in the rental contract.
That depends entirely on your absence figures, and only you know those. The two numbers that matter: how many back-related days of absence occur per person per year, and what does such a day cost you in continued pay, replacement staff and lost productivity? We work that through with your figures in the quote. If the result is marginal, one to three months of short-term rental is the most honest way to find out – if you then move to a long-term rental, the short-term rent is credited in full (up to €3,000 per unit), so testing costs you nothing extra.

Yes, in full – up to €3,000 per unit. The short-term months already run count towards the new term, and the difference to the lower monthly rate is spread evenly across the remaining instalments. Within that limit you pay exactly as much as if you had chosen the longer term from the start – so testing costs you nothing extra.
There is no credit against a purchase price, however. Purchase and rental are separate routes; we calculate which is cheaper for you in the quote. If you want to own the unit in the end, leasing is the more suitable route.
Usually yes, but involve them early. The units can record usage data – who lifts what and when. Clarify in advance which analyses you need and which you do not. We help describe the data flows.
If co-determination becomes difficult, there is a simple route: without an inserted and activated SIM card the unit records no data. That takes the debate about performance and behaviour monitoring off the table before it starts. The price should be stated honestly – you give up the entire data analysis: no ergonomics evaluation, no strain metrics, no basis for a later cost-effectiveness case. Many companies therefore start without a SIM and add one as soon as a works agreement is in place.
